We had a very busy year in 2017 with both the Council and General Elections - that’s now 3 elections in 2 years, no mean feat for a small group of volunteers and the only branch in Wales!
To see out 2017 we’re having a winter social next Tuesday, 12 December. We’re meeting at the Golden Cross in Cardiff City Centre from 6:30pm. We’d love to see you there for our final catch-up of the year - just look out for the WE logo on our T-shirts. Email [email protected] if you want to arrange to meet up somewhere beforehand to arrive at the venue in a group, or if you plan to arrive later in the evening.
If you’ve never been to one of our meetings or events, this social a great way to meet informally for a chat, get to know some new people, and find out a bit more about what the Branch actually does.
At the social we will have the small business of voting in our new Branch Team for 2018. The nominations for the Appointed Branch Officer positions are as follows:

Data Manager - Ruth Williams
Some information about each of the nominees can be read here. We’re looking for more volunteers to take on other roles such as Deputy Branch Leader, Secretary, Comms Support etc. so if you’d like to know more about those or would like to volunteer, please get in touch.
