At our 2016 conference, over 1000 delegates came together for a weekend of debates, activism and idea sharing. Here's what a few of our delegates had to say about the experience:

'I brought my nine year old son to conference and was really proud that he got to see his mum speaking on stage during debates. He can now talk with sensitivity and confidence on a range of topics including the gender pay gap and abortion. May all our boys be as well informed as they grow up.'

'During the open mic session I thanked the Women’s Equality Party for helping me to find my voice. (It’s still a work in progress!) It is always empowering to be surrounded by other feminists and this was the biggest feminist gathering I’d been to – the whole weekend was a buzz. Who knew politics could be fun? but we are a ‘party’. It was significant to vote on our policies, it means a lot to choose what we want to do and agree on the changes we want to see in the world. We have a lot to learn from each other.'
