We thought it would be great for Lothian members to meet others who are going to the conference, as well as those who can't make it to the conference, so that we can take forward the views of all our members.
So, the Lothian branch committee - Amy, our new branch Leader; David, Treasurer; Justine, Secretary/data manager and Claire, Comms lead, will all be at Akva and hope that you can join us.
Akva is fully accessible, with a lift to the upstairs where we have reserved a space. We have checked out the following the details:
- Children are welcome until 8pm
- Disabled toilets on each floor
- Hot and cold drinks and food available at all reasonable times
- There's a bus stop within 20m (Lothian Buses Numbers 1, 34, 35)
- On road car parking (free after 6.30pm) within 20 metres in Gardner Crescent
- Cycle parking is behind venue
- There's even canal barge mooring and canoe pontoon at rear of venue (contact Scottish Canals for further details).
