Getting to conference

Party Conference 2016 will be held at Victoria Warehouse, Manchester, M17 1AB.

Manchester is a hub for public transport and is easily accessible from all over the UK, with 2 major train stations (Piccadilly and Victoria) as well as being home to a large airport. Manchester is reachable by train from most UK cities within a few hours, such as Cardiff (less than 4 hours), London (2 hours), Newcastle (3 hours), Edinburgh (3.5 hours) and Exeter (4.5 hours).

The conference venue Victoria Warehouse is located to the south west of Manchester city centre, in the Trafford area. There are two tram stops within a short walk of the venue – Exchange Quay and Pomona – with trams running from the city centre every 6 – 12 minutes. For more information and timetables visit the Metro Link website. A limited provision for bicycle parking is available.

The following bus routes service the venue within 400m walk from the site: 53, 69, 250, 255 & 256. for more information, see the Transport for Manchester website or call 0871 200 2233.

We encourage delegates to travel to the venue by public transport (or on foot from nearby hotels). A limited number of parking spaces are available at the venue and will be reserved primarily for those with access requirements.

On Friday and Saturday (only), parking is available for 150 cars in car park E3 which is located at the back of the venue, off Trafford Wharf Road. On street parking and numerous other car parks can also be found in the vicinity. Please note, that on Sunday 27 November Manchester United is playing a home match and due to the venue’s proximity to Old Trafford football ground, roads and car parks are likely to be very busy.
