Head of Fundraising and Development

The Head of Fundraising and Development will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing the Women’s Equality Party fundraising strategy and targets in coordination with the senior team. Ideally, we are looking for an individual who has helped build a fundraising operation from the ground up, and has a proven track record in securing large gifts from high net worth individuals (HNWI).

The Head of Fundraising and Development will oversee the party’s fundraising efforts, develop and grow a major donor pipeline and ensure that funds are raised to support the party’s strategic ambitions over the next four years. The postholder will:

● develop and manage membership and supporter journeys

● pilot new digital fundraising platforms

● manage a personal portfolio of donors

● lead the development of new sources of high value income

● expand branch fundraising capacity (in conjunction with the Members and Supporters Officer)

They will report to the Director of Finance and Operations, and will be supported by the Senior Campaigns Coordinator and Members and Supporters Officer. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills, and the credibility to manage relationships at the highest level. This is a unique opportunity for a talented fundraiser to re-write what political fundraising looks like and help the party continue to achieve electoral success.
