How Can We Stop Violence Against Women? 21st Sept 2016 7pm-9pm

Hello!

I'm writing to let you know about a themed discussion evening about How We Can Stop Violence Against Women. Its on the 21st of September (next Wednesday) 7-9 pm at the Norwich Central Baptist Church, Duke Street, Norwich NR3 3AP

There will be some great speakers:

  • How to recognise the signs of coercive and controlling behaviour and respond effectively: by Sue Bayliss, holistic psychotherapist, coach, trainer and wellbeing consultant with a special interest (and much experience) in helping people change or leave controlling relationships and rebuild their lives.
  • Hear about the work of Leeway - a specialist domestic abuse charity and how it supports over 8,000 adults, children and young people every year in Norfolk.
  • Hear a personal story of living in a coercive relationship from Min Grob, a trainee lawyer who has set up a national conference on this issue.

Then there will be small group discussions about this important topic.

It would be really great if you were able to come along and support this event - please RSVP so we know you're coming!

Best wishes
Maggie (Norwich Branch Chair)
