Sheffield Gender and Poverty

3.8 million workers are in poverty and the largest group of workers in poverty are women.

Successive governments have failed to deal properly with economic inequality and the continuing gender poverty gap. 

We will be examining the latest findings from leading economic and welfare research institutes and discussing how we can campaign locally to highlight this inequality to effect change for the women of Sheffield
