Co-founder Catherine Mayer has written a new book that not only makes a compelling case for gender equality, it also shows us the gender-equal world WE are working to create: Equalia.
Attack of the Fifty Foot Women: How Gender Equality Can Save The World!, will be published by HQ, an imprint of HarperCollins, in the UK and Commonwealth on International Women’s Day, 8 March, followed by Canada in May and the USA in September.
Catherine’s book is the story of the Women's Equality Party - and so much more besides.
It lays bare the mechanisms that keep women down. It doesn’t shy away from tackling the debates that divide feminism and sometimes risk dividing WE. And it sets out her global research, including a trip to Iceland, which inspired her to make a call for Women’s Day Off in 2018.
It is available to pre-order from Waterstones and all major booksellers >>
Catherine will be talking about the book at a brilliant Intelligence Squared debate moderated by Emily Maitlis and featuring Catherine, Jess Phillips, June Eric-Udorie and David Baddiel.
