Women's Equality in Brighton and Hove - where shall we go from here?

Women's Equality in Brighton and Hove - where shall we go from here?

Your local Women's Equality branch needs you!

It's time for a change in WE Brighton - Worthing branch is taking off on its own, some of the current Brighton team have decided to step back and let others take the reins, and so Celia Wilson, the Party's Senior Campaigns Coordinator and formerly WE Brighton branch leader, is coming down to talk to members and supporters about how local activism should look now.

WE Brighton was one of the first branches to get started - it's got a fantastic history of activism and collaboration, and has a great number of local members and supporters.   To make the local campaigns really relevant, make activism more manageable and create a sisterhood of local activists who can support each other in times of busyness, Celia would like us to consider dividing into three smaller branches - Lewes, Brighton and Hove, in readiness for the 2019 local elections.

Come along to have your say and share your ideas, a cuppa and a biscuit, and take the opportunity of a WE Central Office presence to ask your answered questions, find out what's involved in becoming a branch officer or a WE candidate. And bring with you the people you think your local equality movement needs!

You don't need to be a member to come to the meeting (but you will need to if you want to become a branch officer or a WE candidate) and you can bring anyone you think would be interested.  Simply RSVP below and tell us how many people you're bringing with you so that we can prepare for the event.

WE can't wait to see you there!
