Taking part

What do I get in my Fundraising Pack?

  • Detailed instructions on how to take part in #Challenge4Equality
  • A guide to asking for donations from friends, family and colleagues
  • A spreadsheet template to track your pledges
  • Some images to use on social media
  • An exclusive invitation to our glamorous awards ceremony

What challenge should I be doing and what should my goal be?

We want #Challenge4Equality to be accessible to everyone. Rather than us telling you what to do, we want you to choose your challenge - something that pushes you, challenges you to grow and crucially something that brings you joy and celebrates you. In fact, the more unusual and unique your challenge, the better!

Some ideas for your challenge:

  • Reading 1 new book a week
  • Learn a new language
  • Learn to play two new songs on the guitar and record them for social media
  • Running 40K over the course of the challenge
  • Walking 1 mile every day
  • Knit a jumper

Why should I take up the challenge?

On International Women’s Day on 8th March, the world is being asked to ‘Choose to Challenge’. By challenging gender bias and inequality we help to create an inclusive society. We’re asking you to set your own challenge this month to help raise money and awareness for equality.

The challenge is a fun way to connect with other feminists across the UK and build our community all whilst supporting the valuable work that the Women’s Equality Party do to bring awareness to inequalities and create change.  It’s also a chance to take on a challenge that brings you joy.
