Join us online for a special US edition of Cook Like a Feminist, to raise money for the GLA Elections. WEP GLA Candidate 2021, Harini Iyengar will be joined by Catherine Mayer, co-founder and President of the Women’s Equality Party, along with her cousin, Laura Mayer who is based in San Francisco and is the founder of Unsalted Butter. They will teach Harini how to make a delicious soup and tasty cookies, both of which are suitable for vegans - perfect for Veganuary! Whilst cooking, they’ll be discussing feminism, American politics and what food means to them. Catherine is an acclaimed journalist and author, who is co-founder of the Primadonna literary festival. Her latest book, “Good Grief” was published in December 2020.
