👋 Welcome to your conference companion - whether you are joining us online or in-person this webpage will be your one stop shop of all the tips and tricks for making conference weekend 2023 the best one yet!
Our recommended routes:
🚄 Sheffield train station operates UK-wide services, and Sheffield Coach station is a 5 minute walk from there. To get to The Diamond from either station, the best transport option is a Blue route Tram to University of Sheffield stop (8 minutes). The tram stop is located via the rear of the station. Trams are wheelchair accessible.
🚌 Alternatively, local bus routes towards University of Sheffield are: 10 and 10a (towards Manor Top), 95 (towards Walkley) and 120 (towards Ranmoor), leave via Pond St/Paternoster Road and are all a 2 minute walk from the train station. Be aware that buses are infrequent, so for further information and timetables, head to www.travelsouthyorkshire.com
🚏 Megabus coaches terminate at Meadowhall – to get to the Diamond, take a train one stop to Sheffield station or a Yellow tram to University Of Sheffield stop (towards Middlewood).
If you require assistance to get to the venue due to any access needs, get in touch.

Our venue is fully accessible with multiple accessible entrances and exits for wheelchair users and lifts to every floor. We will also have a quiet room for delegates who need to take some time for themselves over the weekend.
If you have any other accessibility needs or require BSL, please let us know by emailing [email protected] or by filling out our access form when you purchase your ticket. Please be sure to let us know by 16th October 2023.
💻 For our online conference delegates:
You’ll need to be at the ready from anywhere with an internet connection (your sofa, your garden, your friend’s house - you name it) to connect with members via our conference app and join sessions or cast your vote in party business.
All sessions will be captioned and there will be troubleshooting volunteers available should you need any assistance during sessions and party business.
WE recommend the top five things to in Sheffield and online over conference weekend:
- Attend our incredible series of talks, sessions, and party business.
- Have a laugh with us at our famous comedy night (grab your tickets here).
- Learn how to step up your activism at our training bootcamps in-person on Friday 3rd November November or online on Monday 6th November.

- Meet other members in the party and forge friendships that last a lifetime!
