Help us to make ending violence a political and policing priority by signing up to lead change online
The only way to truly honour all victims of male violence and turn the tide on the fact that 97% of young women experience sexual harassment, is to demand that politicians of ALL stripes treat it as political and policing priority.
Now is the time to step up. The stakes are as high as they’ve ever been but the window of opportunity is narrow. This May elections will take place across the UK. These elections our single biggest opportunity to insist that politicians stop managing the violence, and start preventing it - so that every woman can live free from the fear of violence. Feedback from some of our attendees:
"I overcame my fear of all things digital, and my reluctance to be any kind of organiser, to attend two really well run, informative and useful sessions- and I enjoyed them!"
"On the surface, this may sound newfangled and potentially a bit overwhelming if you don’t know your Instabook from your TwitTok, but fortunately our lovely team at Central Office have got you covered at every stage. The two consecutive sessions will teach you all the tips and tricks for bringing together your community virtually, engaging with the Great British Voting Public, and showing them how the personal really is political. Even if like me, you prefer to live on Twitter than the real world, having attended the training twice now (yes, I’m super-keen, it’s a curse), I still learn something new at every session, and I’m enjoying using my social powers for good. There are still a few sessions on the horizon, and wherever you are, whatever your knowledge of the World Wide Web, WE would be delighted to have you join us."
