East Sheen Local Council By-election 2019

East Sheen Local Council By-election 2019

On Thursday 18th July 2019 WE are standing in a local council by-election in the East Sheen ward of Richmond-upon-Thames.

We will be running big canvassing sessions in East Sheen on the following dates, and we need your help!

  • Saturday 6th July, 11-1pm and 2-4pm (sign up)
  • Sunday 7th July, 11-1pm and 2-4pm (sign up)
  • Saturday 13th July, 11-1pm and 2-4pm (sign up)
  • Sunday 14th July, 11-1pm and 2-4pm (sign up)

We will also run some weekday sessions, depending on canvassers' availability, and a big GET OUT THE VOTE session on election day - Thursday 18th July 2019.

We will be leafleting, knocking on doors and standing outside Mortlake railway station, speaking to as many voters as we can in this short campaign period to persuade them to Vote WEP. The more people we have on our canvassing team the more voters we can speak to!

Can you help us?

Will you volunteer to come canvassing and/or leafleting with us?

Sign up to canvass

Please note at the bottom of the form if you are new to canvassing, so we can make sure to pair you up with an experienced canvasser. There will be a full briefing at the start of every session and full training will be given to anyone who needs it. If you aren't able to canvass but would like to help us in other ways, please still sign up using the form and add this to the notes at the bottom.

Meeting points for each session are yet to be determined but will be close to Mortlake Station, which is on the route between Richmond and Waterloo Stations.

WE hope to see you there!
