Join us in Brighton for a consultation on our draft Equality in Health policy, on the topic of research, diagnosis and training for physical health.
The Women’s Equality Party will put sex and gender at the centre of healthcare policy for the first time and thereby create a health system that sees and celebrates women - supporting healthier outcomes all round.
Females have often been excluded from clinical and pre-clinical trials resulting in a lack of understanding of the different ways medical conditions present with female biology. Women are also more likely to be diagnosed with 'medically unexplained symptoms'- a label given to people with a wide range of symptoms and conditions that are not understood, including ME, chronic fatigue, bowel problems, IBS, chest pains and menstrual symptoms.
WE can’t wait to get your input on policies to address these inequalities.
Spaces are limited so reserve your place as soon as possible.
WE look forward to seeing you there!
