The Women’s Equality Party will put sex and gender at the centre of healthcare policy for the first time and thereby create a health system that sees and celebrates women - supporting healthier outcomes all round. 

WE believe there needs to be a paradigm shift in how mental health is understood and services are delivered. Women are more likely to experience violence, to live in poverty, to live alone and to be carers for other people, all of which contribute to poorer mental health.
