Our social is for members and supporters to catch-up in a informal setting. No agenda, just a chat over food and drink (including non-alcoholic). The conversations are liable to wander away from politics, as this is about getting to know each other. Drop in for 30 minutes or the whole time.
Feel free to bring a friend, or let us know if you'd like to buddy up to arrive with someone else.
We'll be at the Black Horse pub on Longbrook Street in Exeter, between the city centre and the university main campus. The venue is accessible (ramp if needed, and a disabled toilet). It's close to both Exeter Central railway station and the buses and taxi rank on Sidwell Street. There is also parking nearby.
RSVP below to receive updates, and so we can book a big enough table!
Please join us for our third annual quiz night hosted by the fabulous Ioana Platts- Mills at the Cross Keys Pub! Tickets cost £10 each, which includes entry to the quiz, food and the opportunity to win some of the brillant prizes up for grabs in our raffle on the night....
Maximum team size of 6 and with only a limited number of tickets available, you'll want to rally your troops together hastily to ensure you don't miss out on the night of giggles, fizz and trivia that awaits!
Alternatively, if there is a smaller group of you, you can't field a full team or you are coming along on your own, contact us in advance of the night and we can organise a team for you so that you can meet other like-minded people and still be a part of the fun!
The quiz commences at 7.30pm -please arrive around 7pm to grab drinks and get settled at your table before Ioana, our esteemed quiz mistress, puts your brain to the test. The quiz should finish at around 10/10.30pm but the pub is open until closing should you wish to have a Cinderella moment !
Summon your inner Mary Berry's and Paul Hollywood's as each team must bring a cake for the cake auction. There will also be a raffle on the night.
The costs of running a small branch is signficantly high, especially as we enter elections yearly, so all funds raised on the night go towards allowing WEP Tunbridge Wells to function and by extension, help to end gender inequality on a much wider scale. Gender Equality is a goal that we are constantly striving to achieve and with your help through our events, we are able to campaign to get closer to reaching it!
To buy your tickets, click here.
There will be both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal options. Regretfully, the Cross Keys doesn't currently have a disabled toilet as there is a small step up to the loo but it is does have a flat entrance which makes it wheelchair accessible.
We really look forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions or queries, please don't hestitate to get drop us an email at email@example.com.

We have monthly Open Branch Meetings in Tunbridge Wells. Everyone is welcome. They are for anyone who is interested in achieving gender equality in our lifetime and wants to help us do that. It is a very informal gathering.
More details of what we'll be discussing will be posted on our facebook page nearer the time.
No previous experience in or knowledge of politics required, just a wish to be involved somehow.
The December meeting is normally a Christmas Get-together meeting and so the location usually changes.
