Learn about the GLA election in May 2020 and what it takes to be a WEP candidate!

Come along and meet the newly elected GLA hub co-ordinator and WEP candidates from previous elections, including for the GLA in 2016.  We are planning an informal workshop which will help you think about whether you want to be candidate or whether you know someone else who would be great and how to ask them to stand. We’ll discuss what’s exciting about stepping forward to be a candidate or to help with the election campaign, what holds us back, and how we can overcome barriers. The format will be participatory with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

The team leading the session will be Alison Marshall (chief facilitator), Chris Paouros, Harini Iyengar, Nikki Uppal and Melanie Howard with support from Cath Smith.

Please bring anyone you think would make a great candidate too. We want the process to be as open and wide reaching as possible!
