THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED AS THE GOVERNMENT HAS SUSPENDED THE LOCAL ELECTIONS FOR ONE YEAR.
Women's Equality Party Leeds Branch needs you!
In preparation for the Local Elections on Thursday 7th May 2020, WE need your help with our campaign.
Whether you’re prepared to deliver leaflets or to canvass the opinions of local voters, there’s a role for you in getting WE’s message out: Women's Equality Party has an alternative future for our country - ‘Equality is Better for Everyone’.
The wonderful Dr. Louise Jennings is standing as WE’s candidate in Alwoodley, Leeds.
It’s the second time Louise has stood in this ward and we hope to increase her share of the vote.
Her target is to beat the Liberal Democrats to take third place.
WE are offering training sessions for those who are first time canvassers or
more experienced canvassers who just want a refresh.
At this training we will be talking about the focus of our campaign and the key policy priorities.
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
