A one-day conference celebrating women's activism in Greater Manchester.

Expect talks from inspirational women about the work that they are doing to benefit women and girls in Greater Manchester, alongside campaign groups explaining their work and how you can get involved!


Keynote speech from Sophie Walker, Leader of the Women's Equality Party

Speakers throughout the day include: 

  • Eve Holt, DivaManc, Parliament Project and M4
  • Joeli Brearley, Pregnant Then Screwed 
  • Gail Heath, The Pankhurst Trust (inc. Manchester Women's Aid)

We will be hearing about the work of:

  • MEND, Moslem Engagement and Development  
  • WAST, Women asylum seekers together - and their amazing choir. 

We have campaign stands representing:

  • every month MCR
  • WAST
  • Stop the Traffik 
  • Safety4Sisters.

With more groups adding to the list daily. 

We will launch our HERstories project in readiness for 2018 and the exhibition at The People's History Museum

Actress Helen Kay (from our Election Launch) will be running a session on how to get your voice heard, you can join a focus group on our proposed criminal justice motion for national conference, or make a feminist badge. 


This event is not to be missed, bringing together diverse women from across the city, to generate new ideas for campaigns and how we can work together to push forward real change!
