Exciting news for Norfolk - the inaugural Women of the World (WOW) festival is being held in Norwich on Sat 28th - Sun 29th April, at the Open Centre.
The WOW festival on the South Bank was the birthplace of the Women's Equality Party when Catherine Mayer stood up and decided to take politics back.
In this year of anniversary for women's suffrage, Women of the World festival is expanding across the UK. Each WOW festival, made up of talks, debates, music, activism, comedy, workshops, mentoring, pop ups and shows, celebrates women and girls, takes a frank look at what prevents them from achieving their potential and raises awareness globally of the issues they face as well as creating possible solutions.
WE Chief of Staff, Hannah Peaker, will be coming to speak at the panel The Problem with Politics. WE Norfolk are planning our attendance - join us for a once in a lifetime experience.
