It is time we move beyond the austerity agenda, which has hit women the hardest. Eighty-five per cent of the money our current Government has saved has come from women’s pockets.

We want to hear from you about how to build a new caring economy. 

We are constructing economic plans that incorporate the interests of the whole population, not just half, for the benefit of all. These include:

• ending the gender pay gap by forcing companies to publish pay data broken down by gender, ethnicity, age and employment status right now, rather than waiting until 2018. This will pump billions into the economy. 
• investing in the caring industry as well as construction and infrastructure, reaping greater economic benefits for all.
• negotiate new trade deals that prioritise the needs of ordinary women and men, rather than protect the interests of big corporates.
