My Hijab does not make me a lesser woman - Sadia Ahmed's suggestion

My Hijab does not make me a lesser woman

My Hijab does not make me a lesser woman

I am tired of people assuming that being a feminist and being a female Muslim are mutually exclusive titles. I am fed up of people thinking that I am oppressed in my religion, when in fact, I feel liberated. Liberation lies in choice, and I AM a woman. Intersectional feminism is the way to true justice for all. Trans women, Muslim women, Jewish women, lesbian women, black women: WE ARE ALL WOMEN.
