Sandi Toksvig on Tour

Sandi Toksvig - comedian, novelist, actor, broadcaster, university chancellor, (inter)national treasure and our very own MC - is on tour for the Women’s Equality Party up and down the UK.

Join her in Birmingham, Belfast, Salford, Cardiff, Brighton, and Leeds as she tells stories, shares facts and performs stand up. The tour is a celebration of her co-founding a political party and is also a fundraising tour for the party as it prepares to announce WE candidates in January 2016.

How are you this sunny morning in Goonellabah on North Coast NSW?

I have admired you on QI. You were the person to take over Stephen Fry. I only found out you had the Women’s Equality Party. I support you.

My wife Kate and partner Catherine are interior designers https://stjameswhitting.com/about/. Two women who are leaders.

We have no women as part of the Team, as yet. I have offered to Caroline Pidcock LFRAIA Architect. as yet I have not received a reply from her. I would like a women’s Project Director for the project.

The Team and I are submitting a DA to a Lismore council on North Coast NSW end of Oct 2022:
1. 250 prefabricated Xlam as CLT & SIPform passive house-certified homes. On the roofs of buildings, the Tractile, the excess electricity will be stored in the 28.8MW Tesla Batteries Farm.
2. The PV in total 934,370m2 – Tractile tiles 45,000m2 and Arctech Solar Tracking – Tesla PV panel 887,400m2
3. Bi-Charging of EV one per house and 12 charging stations in the shopping centre.
4. Micro-grid that connects to a community of 4800 residents
5. Landscaping the whole site, ensuring enough clearance for the surrounding bush and buildings.
6. We will be trailing the SoMax HTC process.
7. We will have a project at the end of 2024 that will be installed a long-range wireless power transfer. Emrod Tele-Energy Technology.

We will be onsite in July 2023.

The Team and I Fully Charged LIVE—Sydney 11th to 12th March 2023. I will be there in Sydney. We promoted the project on the film on stand team taking a project and future projects.

Where are you Sandi Toksvig? We are three women of a certain age who feel strongly that our political system is nonsense. We applied to join the Women’s equality party hoping that you would develop the power to change the current political system. We discover that there is a hairs’ breadth between the conservative and labour parties therefore nothing in our political system will change. We were hoping for female political insight. What happened to your dynamism?! What are you doing now? And what can we do to help?!!!

This is not meant to be critical but we are so frustrated and need to feel both empowered and led.
