Scotland can be the first gender equal country in the world.
But this means making Holyrood work harder for women and girls.
Our nurseries and schools should be engine rooms for possibility, inspiring Scotland’s young people to achieve their full potential. Instead, children are fed gendered expectations about what they can do from a very early age. The result is that women make up 98 per cent of classroom assistants in Scotland, but less than three per cent of chartered civil engineers.
Scotland is home to some of the world’s leading science and technology companies, yet just 28% of students who take Physics at school are girls.
We want all our young people to access these exciting new opportunities. So that women can fulfil their potential. So that business can draw on all of Scotland's talent. And so that our economy can flourish.
WE candidates will make sure women’s potential is no longer wasted.
Donate now, and make sure women are part of a successful future for Scotland.
Why vote for Women's Equality?
Scotland has a chance to become the first gender equal country in the world. It is vital that women have a fair say in how legislation is made. How we are governed determines how we live our lives every day.
WE is a new and fast-growing political movement. It has set out to change the face of politics.
But we don’t have the financial backing of the establishment parties – after all, women are the poorest people in Scotland, and the least powerful.
Our campaign is powered by party members and supporters, not corporate backers. WE need your help.
By donating to our election fund you will help ensure that WE put gender equality at the heart of Holyrood decision making, and keep it there.
Why WE need your support
An election campaign costs money – for leaflets, publicity, transport and much more.
Your money will help us deliver a direct message to voters in Scotland that women's equality matters.
What else can you do?
As well as donating, you can tell your friends about our candidates, share this page on social media, and help your friends and family join WE.
You can also volunteer with our campaign by signing up at the bottom of this page.
