Sheffield Day of Action

Sheffield Day of Action

Last week we announced that we will be standing five survivors against five MPs with unresolved allegations of violence and harassment at the next election.

Join our campaign in Sheffield Hallam on Saturday 7 September. Constituents in Hallam have been left unrepresented by their MP who has stepped back after admitting sending inappropriate text messages to a woman on his staff. But this is what happens when politics doesn’t have a proper system for tackling misogyny and sexual harassment. We'll be campaigning for change to the recall act to empower constituents to hold MPs who have been found guilty of harassment or violence to account.

Come canvassing and share our message with voters: violence and abuse have no place in parliament.

We start all canvassing sessions with training. New canvassers are welcome and will be paired with experienced canvassers.

Wear comfy shoes, bring your phone and we'll bring the rest.

We will go out for 2 sessions - morning (10.30) and afternoon (1.30), with a break for lunch at the Prince of Wales in the middle.  Join us for either or both.
