Constituents in Hallam have been left unrepresented by their MP who has admitted sending inappropriate text messages to a woman on his staff. Despite promising to resign, he has now decided to postpone his resignation indefinitely. But this is what happens when politics doesn’t have a proper system for tackling misogyny and sexual harassment. We'll be campaigning for changes to the recall act to empower constituents to hold MPs who have been found guilty of harassment or violence to account.
