Welcome to WE Sheffield
It's great to have you here.
Festival of Debate
Earlier in the year our branch member and member of the Party’s Disability and LGBTQI caucuses, Pippa, ran an event, Deadly Intersections: Disability and Gender-based Violence to raise awareness of the inequalities that affect disabled women.
We are really pleased that Pippa is going to run the event again as part of this year’s online Festival of Debate on June 2nd at 7.30-9.00pm. If you missed it the first time, this is your chance to hear Pippa talk about this really important topic and if you came along the first time, it’s well worth coming again.
Sign up to find out more about how disabled women are affected by rape culture and male violence against women and girls - and what disabled and non-disabled women can do to campaign for change.

Come to a Meeting
While the pandemic means that we can't physically meet, we are staying connected and active online.
We are holding our branch meetings on Zoom every other Monday from 8pm. The zoom link for the meeting is 936 0148 6649 and the password is 817289. (We met on Feb 1st, so fortnightly from then.)
We'd love you to come but we know that attending a meeting with people you don't know can sometimes be a bit daunting - although we are a very friendly bunch! If you would like to have a chat with one of us before coming to your first meeting then get in touch.
