The Women's Equality Party is delighted to have Kirstein Rummery as our candidate for Stirling in the 2017 General Election.
We have organised a launch event, this Tuesday from 7 - 9pm.
We are focusing on social care for this campaign, and so have invited some representatives from local organisations that work with carers: Plus, Stirling Young carers, as well as Forth Valley Rape Crisis Centre. There will be some short speeches explaining a little about Women’s Equality Party, and Kirstein will talk about what made her stand, and the issues that are important to her.
We will have an information stall with posters and campaign leaflets for you to take away and give to your friends, as well as a bucket for cash donations! We really need to raise enough money to cover expenses and leaflets, so anything you can donate would be most welcome.
There is a great wee cafe, which we would appreciate you buying refreshments from, to support them in their support for us.
It is important to WE Scotland and to Kirstein that this event is accessible to all. The venue is fully accessible; attendees who don't want or can't get childcare, can bring their babies; and places are free, but must be booked in advance, as it only holds 40 (not including babies, but including children), so please RSVP as soon as you can, so that we know what numbers to expect.
