On Saturday 30th November we will be joining hundreds of local women to Reclaim the Night in Ipswich.
Together will raise our voices to demand an end to sexual violence. This year our focus will be on victim blaming.
Ending Violence Against Women and Girls is a priority issue for the Women's Equality Party, so we are determined to make our voices heard and echo the calls of our Parliamentary Candidates standing across the country. We hope you will join us for this as we demand the right to use our streets in safety on this and every night.
We will be gathering on the Cornhill (in front of Ipswich Town Hall) from 4.45pm with women from across the county and we'd love you to join us. Just look out for one of our beautiful handmade Suffolk WEP banners in amongst the groups of women and colourful banners. The march will set off at 5.15pm and take a circular route through Ipswich Town Centre ending back at Ipswich Town Hall for refreshments and speeches, including an address from Suffolk Women's Equality Party.
