Suffolk AGM and Branch Officer Elections

The Suffolk branch has been running for over a year, so it's time to hold our first AGM. We'll be sharing our successes so far and looking ahead to the rest of 2017 and beyond. With lots of exciting things coming up, not least a General Election, this is a great opportunity to get involved and help us grow.

It's also your opportunity to stand for a variety of roles within the branch. There are 4 core roles, which are essential to help us work effectively, follow the links below to read more about what each role entails:

Chair - available as job share

Treasurer

Data Manager - available as job share

Communications Lead

But we are also welcoming nominations for Social Media Lead, Events Lead and Membership/Social Secretary.

If you'd like to consider standing for any of the branch roles, please get in touch and we would be happy to give you more information or answer any questions. These roles are open to nominations from all Party members. We would particularly welcome candidates from ethnic and minority groups.

Even if you're not standing for a role, please come along and vote for your fellow members. Everyone is welcome, although if you'd like to vote, please note this is only possible for registered members. So if you haven't already joined the party, now's a good time. Join here by Wednesday 10th May to be able to vote at our AGM.

The venue is accessible and free of charge. Voting will be done by a show of hands. Unfortunately we can't offer proxy voting.

Please do join us as we celebrate our first year as the Suffolk branch and strengthen our foundations for an exciting year ahead. WE look forward to seeing you there.

Please RSVP below so we know to expect you.
