The Scottish Branches of the Women's Equality Party invite you to join us for our National Day Conference on Saturday 19th February 2022 from 12:00 - 17:00 via Zoom.
During this event we will be talking about issues that are affecting our members and supporters in Scotland and finding out ways that we can lobby, protest and make a significant difference that affects our everyday lives.
WE are living in unprecedented times and as we deal with the fall out of key issues: the global Covid-19 pandemic; the rise in violence against women and girls; the failure of Police Scotland and the law courts to protect women; the lack of safe public transport; the decimation of the child care sector and the crisis in social care and the NHS due to Brexit are all issues that are up for discussion during our conference.
There will be plenty of time for networking and dialogue about how we lobby our MSPs to make Scotland a better place to live, and we will focus on devolved issues which the Holyrood Parliament needs to address.
We will be having the Leader of the Women's Equality Party, Mandu Reid, coming to hear about the impact that needs to be made in the UK Parliament to give a greater voice to those living in Scotland: opinions that are so often drowned out within Westminster.
