By standing in elections, WE hold other parties to account for their policies on women's equality. 

We run to prove to other parties that policies on gender equality win votes and popular support, and to exert political pressure on them to create and implement meaningful policies to effect change. In every election we contest we make gains. We drive gender equality up the political agenda, force other parties to re-assess policies and candidates and win influence and make change happen.
