Because being promised change is not the same as seeing it happen. - Natasha Ransom's suggestion

Because being promised change is not the same as seeing it happen.

Because being promised change is not the same as seeing it happen.

When will the pay gap change? Why do people assume that a woman has the support of a male partner's income. I'm a single person on a woman's wage and its barely enough to cover my rent. Why do we live in a world where plumbers earn more than care workers and does that suggest that we care more about our heating than our elderly and disabled relatives? More about objects than people? I don't work in a traditionally female industry but to me this seems that women's work is valued less because its done more often by women, not because of the skill level. Caring and interacting with vulnerable people is highly skilled work.
