WE invite you - our members, supporters, and anyone else who wants to get more involved - to join us in shaping what 2020 should look like for women in Worcester and the wider county.
It's been a busy year for politics and a busy year for us locally. We marched against austerity in the Women's March, we started conversations with local politicians about their responsibilities in licensing sexual entertainment venues, we marched against the appalling rape conviction rates at Million Women Rise, we contested the Bedwardine seat in the local Worcester City elections - fielding a complaint about unfettered sexism within the council along the way.
We supported Malvern and Worcestershire Pride and raised a few funds through our pub quizzes.
We marched again in our own Reclaim the Night march, strengthening our connections with local women's services and then managed to get several pledges from many Worcestershire GE candidates to 'End Violence in Westminster'.
We now want to reflect and want your input to help shape 2020 and beyond. We are here to stay, help us make a difference.
This will be an informal event but be prepared to share ideas and contribute to discussions.
