Comedy fundraiser & auction – Saturday 17 March

Comedy fundraiser & auction – Saturday 17 March

Celebrate St Patrick’s Day with WE Camden at our comedy and auction fundraiser to raise funds for our candidate, and branch co-leader, Emma Ko’s campaign.

WHO’S PROVIDING THE LAUGHS?
We have a fantastic, standout line-up of amazing female talent:

Taylor Glenn – an award-winning American comedian, writer and former psychotherapist living in London, Taylor co-hosts the Self Renovators podcast. She has written for The Guardian, Standard Issue Magazine, The Daily Mash and Huffington Post. Taylor’s stand-up show “A Billion Days Of Parenthood” received rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016: “Funny and touching and brilliant” – The Guardian. “Like seeing your life translated into funny” – FEST magazine

Eleanor Tiernan – an Irish comedian living in London, Eleanor is a regular contributor to TV, radio, panel shows and other media including RTE’s Irish Pictorial Weekly and Comedy Central’s Alternative Comedy Experience. She has done stand-up at the Edinburgh Fringe, Galway Comedy Festival and Montreal Just For Laughs

Yuriko Kotani – a Japanese transplant to London, Yuriko was named “One to Watch” by Time Out in 2015, was the winner of the BBC New Comedy Award in 2015 and the Brighton Comedy Squawker Award, again in 2015 (clearly a busy year for Yuriko!)

Plus a special guest on auction duties

WHAT’S UP WITH THE AUCTION?
It’s fun, it’s casual – and there will be a choice selection of things to win, so prime yourself to bid on some great prizes…

See you there – or on the Campaign Trail!
