Suffragette out now on DVD

WE are delighted to support today's DVD release of the film Suffragette

Today, on the eve of Women's History Month, the inspiring drama Suffragette is released on DVD.

Directed by Sarah Gavron and written by Abi Morgan, Suffragette follows the foot soldiers of the early feminist movement as they fight for the right to vote.

Carey Mulligan stars as Maud Watts, who becomes an activist for the growing Suffragette movement as she realises the gendered inequalities in her own life, and in the lives of the women around her.

The film also stars Anne-Marie Duff as Violet Miller, Screen Actors Guild Award winner Helena Bonham Carter as Edith Ellyn, Academy Award winner Meryl Streep as Emmeline Pankhurst and British Independent Film Awards winner Brendon Gleeson as Inspector Arthur Steed.

WE are delighted to supports its release on DVD. The Suffragette story powerfully conveys the injustices faced by women in the last century, and inspires us in our work for women's equality in the twenty-first century. Its story is both heart-breaking and galvanising - see it now!
