Our Culture Club meeting on Wednesday 27th January is on Holocaust Memorial Day. This the day when the United Kingdom ensures that today’s and future generations know how far human evil can take us. 

We will be joining with Edgware & Hendon Reform Synagogue to commemorate the Nazi Shoah suffered by the Jewish people and genocides suffered by other peoples at that time and subsequently around the world. We will hear testimony from 

• Ivan Shaw who survived the Nazi invasion of Serbia
• Yoletta Nyange Rwandan born journalist, who will speak about how Rwanda is or is not recovering from the trauma of genocide.
