Campaigns Coven

Do you have a campaign idea that could change the world? This is your chance to win support and funding to make your campaign a reality. 

At this year’s Party Conference we are holding our very first Campaigns Coven! In a Dragons' Den style event, activists like you will pitch their change making ideas to a panel of expert judges for a chance to win £5000 of funding and party support to make their idea a reality.

Covid has proven itself to be the great revealer, laying bare the inequalities that existed long before this crisis. The challenge we are facing has never been greater, but there are huge opportunities to Build Back Equal in the aftermath of the pandemic. So we’re giving activists the chance to win support and funding for their campaigns to make real change towards gender equality.

We are particularly encouraging applications from BAME, Disabled, low income and LGBT+ women, and other groups that are under represented in mainstream politics. 

The deadline for submissions is 11.59 pm on 4th October 2020. Long listed candidates will be invited to a phone interview on 7th October, and the final shortlist will be invited to a preparatory workshop in the evening of 9th October before presenting their idea live online at the Women's Equality Party Conference at 12.00 pm on 18th October.
