Offending women? Women's journeys through the Criminal Justice System

Offending women? Women's journeys through the Criminal Justice System

A unique opportunity to attend this ground-breaking conference - exploring the inequalities that women offenders face, the conference will take you on a journey through the Criminal Justice System through the eyes of a woman. As well as hearing first hand from women who have been through the Criminal Justice System, we have a fabulous line-up of guest speakers. These include: Professor Azrini Wahidin, a renowned academic and researcher on women in prison; Hannah Morowa of Manchester WomenMATTA; Harriet Johnson of Doughty Chambers; Scott Cowap, Chair of Women's Problem Solving Court; and Harini Iyengar, a leading barrister and WEP spokesperson for Equal Representation who grew up here in Manchester!
