Read our manifesto

In Scotland, legally someone only has to have ‘reasonable belief’ that consent was given, perpetuating stereotypes about women ‘bringing it on themselves’ and ‘asking for it’. That is why WE are calling for the law on consent to be reformed so it is unambiguous and unequivocal! Consent is not ambiguous and until our law reflects this, we will never be able to prevent sexual violence. It is time to end ‘reasonable belief’ in sexual consent.

WE need as many people as possible to help us activate our members, so we can win the biggest possible vote share in Edinburgh and Glasgow and change the law on consent. Our candidates and election volunteers will also be campaigning on the Party's eight priorities: Equal Representation, Equal Pay and Opportunity, Equal Parenting and Caregiving, Equal Education, Equality in Health, Equality in the Media and Ending Violence Against Women and Girls.

If you can give just a few hours, you can make a huge difference to our campaign.
