About WEPstock

When is WEPstock?

WEPstock will take place between 1st and 4th September. You will be able to access the exclusive WEPstock app from Monday 30th August, until Monday 6th September.

What if I can’t make all the events?

Most of the live events will be available to watch back for festival attendees within a few hours of the event taking place. The WEPstock app will be open until Monday 6th September to ensure attendees have plenty of time to watch the events back. The events will not be available to watch after the WEPstock app closes.

Accessing WEPstock

Is WEPstock online?

Yes, WEPstock will be taking place online with the exception of local events that will be self-organised. The events team have taken this decision based on the uncertainty of the coming months and to ensure attendees feel comfortable and safe attending the events. Putting events online also means feminists from across the country can attend without having to travel a long distance or pay for hotels, childcare or take time away from work.

How will I access WEPstock?

WEPstock will be accessed via the WEPstock App. Attendees will be able to access the exclusive WEPstock app from Monday 30th August, until Monday 6th September. The app is easy to navigate and support with be on-hand to ensure everybody is able to find what they need. The app will host a social feed, give users the ability to connect with each other, hold an exclusive feminist marketplace and provide attendees with an easy way to find all the events and speakers happening over the course of the festival.

Will WEPstock be accessible?

As with all events from the Women’s Equality Party, automatically generated closed captions will be made available for all attendees. If you have accessibility requirements, please indicate your needs when registering for your ticket.

What technology do I need to know about?

WEPstock will be hosted on the WEPstock app. Ticket holders will be provided with guidance and full support when accessing the app. Each of the online events at the festival will be hosted on Zoom. You can find out more about using Zoom by visiting the help pages.
