This is not a WEP event.
'It's a Girl Thing' produces 'Fempads' by hand. These are reusable and washable sanitary towels which are sent largely to developing countries such as Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The 'It's a Girl Thing' group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at the Friends Meeting House in Worcester to sew and chat!
The organisers are holding a fundraising event - a 3 course lunch at £15 per head to help raise much needed funds for materials and postage.
