How To Access Conference
All ticket holders will be emailed a link to access the Conference App. Please note, some of the features of the app will go live on the first day of the conference.
This year, WE conference 2020 is online. To ensure accessing all the aspects of the conference is easy and simple, we’re using an app to house all the details about the conference.
The app also allows you to connect and socialise with other delegates, find information about the sessions and speakers and take the conference with you in your pocket.
Accessing the conference app on your mobile device
- You will be emailed a link to access the conference app. The subject will be ‘You’re Invited to Women’s Equality Party Conference 2020’. The sender will be named Women’s Equality Party Conference 2020, from the address [email protected]
- On your phone, click the first link, entitled: ‘You’re invited to download Women’s Equality Party Conference 2020’.
- This will open the app in either the Google Play store, or the Apple store. Install the app on your mobile device.
- Once installed, open the app and enter the email address you received the invite. You will be sent an email from ‘[email protected]’ with the subject line ‘Sign up for WEP conference 2020’. Click the blue continue button on the email and choose to open the link in your conference app.
- Fill in your details. You’re now logged in!
Accessing the app on your laptop or computer
We highly recommend downloading the app onto your mobile device, if you are able to. The mobile app will enhance your experience of the conference and means you can take the conference in your pocket.
However, we understand that some people may not be able to download the app onto a mobile device, and some people may not want to.
To access the webpage, follow the steps below:
- You will be emailed a link to access the conference app. The subject will be ‘You’re Invited to Women’s Equality Party Conference 2020’. The sender will be named Women’s Equality Party Conference 2020, from the address [email protected]
- On your desktop, click the first link, entitled: ‘You’re invited to download Women’s Equality Party Conference 2020’.
- Enter the email address with which you received your invitation.
- Follow the instructions on screen to log in to the app.
- You'll be able to view the sessions, speakers, marketplace and other information.
Getting Help
If you encounter any problems with this stage, please take the following steps:
- Read the FAQs at the bottom of this page.
- Check that you are using the correct email address. You will receive the invitation to the email address you used to sign up. You must use this email address to log in to the conference app and webpage.

Moderation and behaviour
All discussions are moderated by the WEP team. We ask you to be respectful of others who are trying to enjoy the conference.
We will remove derogatory comments, abusive behaviour, doxxing, personal insults and any comments we deem to be inappropriate. If you are posting something potentially triggering, please indicate as such, or it will be removed.
Delegates are able to report posts in the app. If a post is reported three times it will be automatically removed.
If a user is making repeated comments that are being removed or reported, they will be blocked from posting on the app. The same applies to comments made on Zoom meetings and webinars.
FAQs
When do I have to download the app?
You can download the app at any point up up until and throughout the conference. It's recommended that you download the app before the conference to get used to it and troubleshoot any problems.
I can't see any marketplace stalls?
The marketplace opens on Thursday 15th October! Keep your eyes on the app for some exciting stalls.
I can't post on the community feed yet?
The community feed will be live on the first day of the conference (Thursday 15th October).
I'm a member, so I should be able to see Party Business - at the moment I can't
Members and supporters are able to see slightly different sessions on the app. For example, only members should be able to see the link for Party Business sessions. If you think you have the wrong ticket - please email [email protected]
Will there be socialising opportunities on the app?
Yes, there will be plenty of chance to socialise. We've scheduled casual social sessions throughout the four days. There's also chances to post on the Zoom chat box, the session discussion and the 'Community Feed'.
I haven't got a link / email
Please check your spam folder for emails. Your email will go to the email address that you signed up to Eventbrite with.
I don't want to or can't download the app
You can still access the conference through the webpage. Follow the instructions above to access the webpage. We really encourage you to download the app if you're able to - your experience of conference will be more social and exciting!
